Jeph Loeb on Word Balloon Podcast.

Jeph Loeb, the head of Marvel Television, visited the Word Balloon Podcast recently to talk everything Marvel Television related. While he couldn't reveal too much, he did offer up some interesting bits.

When asked about that, assuming AGENT CARTER gets a second season, if they were still planning on going with the skipping a year idea they had, Jeph stated that they talked about it. They have talked about following through with that, but they have also talked about possibly picking up from the end of the first season. So as of right now, if AGENT CARTER comes back for a second season like I hope it will, there is no guarantee on where the story will go from there. It could be the next day or it could be years later.

Jeph also talked about the special effect we can come to expect on DAREDEVIL. Now, as the trailer showed us, they are clearly going to highlight Matt's senses. I know some fans weren't happy with how they were showcasing his awareness, but I actually really like the effects they've decided to use. But other than that, it doesn't look like we'll be getting too many special effects on the show. This should actually be expected, though, since they've stated from the beginning that the Netflix shows are supposed to be more realistic since they are street-level characters.

The most interesting part of the interview, however, was when Loeb was asked about any potential announcements coming this year regarding new Marvel Television shows. When a Marvel head says they can't comment on something? You know there's usually something coming.
