RUMOR: Sony & Marvel Have Worked Out a Deal!

Ever since THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 failed to impress audiences (and critics), fans have been waiting for Sony to give the rights back to Marvel. At first, the idea seemed far-fetched. There was no way Sony was going to give up their only superhero franchise, right? It didn't seem plausible. Yes, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 was a bomb both critically and financially, but Sony still seemed convince that they could fix it. Rumors suggested that they were going to try a soft reboot with SINISTER SIX before going back to do THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3. And it seemed as though they had every intention of moving forward with that plan until the Sony hack happened.

When the hack occurred, e-mails that proved Marvel and Sony had previously been in talks to share Spider-man made their way online. Fans were happy to know that Marvel had reached out to them, but that happiness was short lived was the rest of the e-mails came out and pretty much proved that talks had ended.

Then that was when the rumors started. Sites started claiming they had exclusives and that they knew what was going on with Spidey - sites that were entirely unreliable and had never broken a scoop before that day. Between all of this, Latino-Review was staying on top of everything related to Sony & Marvel and Spider-man, and unlike the other sites? They had credibility. Their track record with Marvel scoops last year alone was enough to make me believe them. And that is why I believe the rumor that they are hearing about Sony & Marvel finally working out a deal.

According to Latino-Review, Spider-man WILL appear in THE AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, PART 1.
Which brings us to May 4th, 2018 - Avengers: Infinity Wars Part 1. Here's what I understand: .... Spider-Man IS in this movie, the Sony deal went through.
Now, I should warn you. If you go to their site, there will be A LOT of spoilers. So read at your own risk. I'm kind of upset that I read what I did, only because these are BIG spoilers, but I've included the link to the post below.

Again, as of right now, this is still a rumor, but like I said, Latino-Review has been pretty on point when it comes to Marvel. They knew about Guardians before it was announced, they knew about Chadwick being cast as Black Panther long before he was announced (nearly a year, actually), they knew about Bradly Cooper voicing Rocket, they knew about Josh Brolin playing Thanos, etc. They have a very solid track record. So yeah, even though it's a rumor currently, I'm willing to believe them.
