Has Daniel Bruhl's Role in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Been Revealed?

Ever since Daniel Bruhl was announced as joining the cast of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, fans have been speculating who he'll be playing. For the most part, Marvel is usually pretty good at announcing who the actors they've cast will be playing. But every now and again - i.e. with both Bruhl and Rosario Dawson - they've kept the roles under wraps for as long as possible. We finally figured out who Dawson was playing during NYCC, but Marvel has yet to comment on who Bruhl will be playing.

But thanks to a casting call, that information may have been leaked.

The bloggers over at Comicbook.com located a casting call (here).

Here is what the casting call says:

They have listed Bruhl's character as Baron Zemo.

This isn't a real surprise since that is who fans have speculated he'll be playing since the mysterious casting announcement, but it's as close as we're going to get to a confirmation... for now.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR starts filming in April and will be released in May 2016.

Anthony Mackie Briefly Talks CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR!

With CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR set to start filming this April, we're slowly starting to learn more about the movie. Not too much, of course. This is still a Marvel movie, but enough to satisfy fans until May of 2016. During his promo tour for BLACK & WHITE, Mackie has talked about CIVIL WAR a few times now. He talked about filming locations during a radio show interview, he talked about Falcon getting an updated costume in another (this was to be expected as the Marvel heroes usually get upgraded suits with each film, it seems), and when talking to Collider, he went on record to say that "It’s by far one of the most stupendous rides Marvel has put together."

 He also briefly talked about CIVIL WAR while on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon:

The Russo Brothers Talk CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR!

We haven't heard too much about Civil War since the movie was announced and Robert Downey Jr. was confirmed, but now, the Russo brothers have given us a bit more insight as to what we can expect. But the best part, perhaps, was that they confirmed that Scarlett Johansson will be back as Black Widow!

For me, she was one of the best parts of THE WINTER SOLDIER. Her chemistry with Chris Evans is wonderful and their characters play off of one another perfectly. There's a nice balance between them, and I can't wait to see how this movie turns out!



CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR starts shooing in April and will be released in theaters on May 6th, 2016!
